First Zoo Trip

Last week I told a friend that we'd never taken Connor to the zoo and she shamed me.  So, this weekend, we took advantage of the nice weather and headed for the biopark.  It had been years since Thomas and I had visited the animal exhibits.  It was fun for all of us to (re)discover the animals.

Connor's favorites were the African hunting dogs ("dog! dog! ball! dog!"), the seals and sea lions, and the ducks.  He was a little overwhelmed by the monkeys, chimpanzees, giraffes, and rhinos.

Trying to figure out the giraffe

He really started to have fun when we let him run free.

This was a chimpanzee mama and baby snuggling.  It was very sweet.

We spent a lot of time watching the seals.  Connor just said "agua" over and over.

We let him out to see the ducks but he almost went in the water.

We purchased a membership to the Albuquerque Biopark so we'll have more Zoo days in our future.
